Very interesting story of your dad and step mum. Sometimes I suspect people find it hard not to be true to themselves, like your step mum who needed to be her true self. I learned lots after taking on teaching as a job, because they were often would give a mouthful of cheek. So, I got a bit toughened. The football was very exciting last night and a friend from Geelong and I kept texting messages to each other throughout the match. She's a church lady and told me she was praying to God for the Demons to win and I should do so as well. I thought God wouldn't favour one team over another, especially one called Demons. Much fun. It was my father's team so I wanted them to win. My dad died whilst playing golf with his mates. Age 54, mum was 50. I never recovered from our enormous loss. A kind, gentle and loving man. No one can speak about him without wearing a big grin, he was loved by all who knew him. He loved making jokes and played with us like he was a kid. OK enough already. Wishing you a lovely Sunday. The sun is shining here....hope for you too. Zoom church to begin soon.....

I am glad that you enjoyed the football, it sounds as if you had fun. Lol about God not favouring the demons. Your Dad died too young He sounded wonderful. I still miss my Dad so very much, you see I didn't allow him to bully me much to his exasperation. I choose to remember all the good times we had. It is hard to lose your Dad isn't it. Enjoy your Zoom church.
