The end of the weekend. Yesterday I had the great honour of judging a teen fashion contest. It was daunting and I realised how hard it could be to judge diverse works. It was hard to be judgmental about the work of people who had worked so hard and enthusiastically but that was our job.
a big box of chocolates came home with me along with a bog bunch of flowers.
the experience has probably changed how I approach my own art work as well - nothing beats experiencing the trauma of judging others work. Hint to self - make it easy for them by focusing on the right thing.
