I would really enjoy watching this if I had enough bites But I know basically what has happened to the soil since "modern" farming was introduced. My poor husband went to agricultural college in the 60's and was trained in the ways of modern farming which he proceeded to engage in. Then along came this crazy woman who questioned everything and was so into organic farming. Bless his heart, he was eventually converted and we then ran an organic farm.
I look around me at 99% of the farms in the area which may produce, what looks like stunning weed free crops and I despair. It is chemical destruction. I am now past raving on about it, we just look after our farm in a sustainable way. Yes soil is king. But unless you look after it, it is an empty vessel.
