I don't think by adding zones adds much to the cost.
We have solar panels on our machinery shed (max you can have) and I am hoping this will effectively cover the cost of running the A/C, summer and winter. About a week ago we got a power bill, so the next billing period will be interesting as we have certainly used the A/C over this hot spell.
No sure what kw's our A/C is = BIG lol. Put it this way, it cost around $22.
