Cleo de Merode was the first actress/dancer who got the full celebrity treatment - I thought you could at least have picked a photo with 'a hat' as some on this thread love hats . . . so here she is and the following is from Wikipedia:
Cléopâtre-Diane de Mérode was a French dancer of the Belle Époque. She has been referred to as the "first real celebrity icon" and the "first modern celebrity". She was also the first woman whose photographic image, due in particular to photographers Nadar and Léopold-Émile Reutlinger, was distributed worldwide
The rest: so sad about the children and wondered if there were any adoptive parents?
Would love the water gadget! has fallen into disuse so maybe didn't work?
Brothers Grimm - one looks like a sad Beagle hound, the other could have been an actor
and the little bear is so cute not so cute when they grow up. all of Central Europe alpine districts had bears well into the beginnings of he 19th century - there are stories of bears being killed and smoked from their caves and the sounds of their bellowing being heard right into the end of 19th century in Switzerland, the city of 'Bern' is named after bears - it has a wonderful fountain on main drag with bear sculptures.
go well
