@cara it looks magnificent - I have only ever been in Bombay for one day - plane stopped and we took taxi to show us around; saw lots, just got the feel of the place, but I have read lots about India, am interested in their politics, infinite capacity for survival and, of course, having been to visit my now deceased daughter in England many times, I got to know a few Indians and their stories; their regular taxi-driver always told me lots; he was a compulsive newspaper as it were (haha!) - all his kids were studying . . . . - had friend who hitchhiked through India, now back in the mists of time - and he had some stories to tell, which have remained with me . . . . a place of much magic but also misery

another place which I had on the bucket list is Ponticherry - as a retirement - all this is on hold now, of course.
You will have to await until Covid has done its stint - and we will get over it IMO - and then go, man go!!! you only have one life!
