Do you think it's the precursor of a cold? About the only reason I have ended up with a cold.
Once I lost my voice because I was travelling across Canada in Greyhound buses, and the airconditioning caused severe laryngitis. I had to write everything on a clipboard for days as doctor said very important to not speak a word. Serious. Very annoying when you must remain silent for days on end whilst visiting unknown Canadian relatives.
Sorry Margaret about your throat. I hope you can find an effective remedy. I was going to suggest the brown onion trick but more for cough than throad. Slice a raw brown onion, Spresd onto a plate and drizzle the slices with a spoonful of honey. Leave overnight. Next morning sip the liquid, which won't taste like strong onion at all. Do the same, using same onion, but adding more honey, so liquid exudes from onion again, and again. Very soothing to throat.....
