- of course, they are one of the older banking concerns of Switzerland and are now one of the 3 richest; they manage money for the super-rich. There was a history on some website, which showed a lot of gold-bars which were made from molten down unclaimed jewellery after WWII . . . .
and I did a bit of a 'walk-about' of Zurich by means of Googlemaps - and checked out where my nephew works; the Swiss National Bank (I have been there) and his sister's new address - great fun. Now if I could only remember the name of the little road you had your wonderful adventure in . . . .?

It is a beautiful city, especially in summer with all the wonderful swimming baths, views of the Alps from everywhere, good, but expensive food . . . .
I remember being in a 'Gasthaus' which had a section where the windows were level with a small meadow, which was enclosed and filled with live rabbits - kids could view them from the windows - it was very popular.
