Indeed and I am looking forward to it, I have tolerated hot weather in the past but record temps this summer tells me enough is enough.
Running cost was a concern but modern RC inverter aircon is much more efficient than in the past, like 60% and zoning cuts down power consumption more. From what I have read up cost of running the aircon will be about $1 per hour so if I use it for cooling average 10 per day 30 days it will cost $300. I can live with that.
I will run it hard for a week or so after it is installed, that should shake out any faults and give me an idea of running costs. Still considering solar panel but will wait and see
