Not at all, just trying to clarify.
"When you write the whirly bird makes a "difference" it was commonsense for the reader to think it made some sort of "difference" which was worthwhile." That is correct, it makes a difference so the cost and time was indeed worth while
"After all if the heat in the roof moves from 66 to 65 that a difference but I aint going to be happy with that difference." I agree and don't think I would notice if the difference from 66 to 65, but I do feel the difference, it's particularly noticeable late afternoon/early evening.
It was @wotsup that suggested the whirly bird to me and given his expertise about roofs I took it on board and thank him for the suggestion. If it make little difference I would have told him so
