- but mankind is capable of both kindness and cruelty - and there was probably a good deal of practicality involved in shooting the horses. I never did see the movie and later musical 'Warhorse' - advertised during the Queens jubilee year from tall buildings around the Thames - because i knew it would touch on the subject of cruelty not just man to man, but man to animal - a soul more innocent and by-stander and obedient helper to man and his undertakings, be they evil or beneficial - and no gratitude from us. so sad Taurisk
