@NoBoDe - I remember you recommended a book to me once, where the story line consisted of a very wealthy man demanding that his bank deliver his entire holdings in 'real' money -
From memory, the 'notes' filled several rooms in 'stacks' which reached up to the ceiling. Then the absurdity of wealth becomes visible - in the end the 'paper' the 'coins' designated an arbitrary value given to it by humans, but we all need to agree their value. so, essentially inflation does not mean a thing, it is an arbitrary measure agreed on by all.
Reminds me of those South Sea Islanders where a very large rock, which cannot be moved, denotes a wealthy man/woman. I will 'get it' one day . . . . most likely 'too late'! Be brave Taurisk
