Service charges.....................the buggers are getting higher and higher and before long, they will be more than the actual power usage bill lol.

As for meter reading, hmmmmmmmmm
At our old place, every so often they would go on an estimate for goodness knows how long, and come up with all sorts of false info as to why.
They would always get it wrong and you would get hit for an extra bill of 900ish.
I finally rang them up again, transferred to China LOL and it turns out, the mob that reads the meters get the same $'s per read or estimate.
So naturally, they would just sit back in the office and estimate.
What a game to be in lol.

OH,.......and that's not all.
We had 2 meters, one for the house and one for the pump and both in one meter box.
You don't need to be a smart cookie, logic and commonsense would tell you to read the two of them when you were there.
But nope, they did not, hence a second trip on another time.
