    Just a brief reply from m@Taurisk,

    When we had our old Jersey house cow, the milk was taken straight from the cow and separated into cream, from which we made butter, clotted cream, ice cream. I made cottage cheese and many other things.

    It was unpasteurised milk.
    Sorry, to keep referring back to England, but many farmers are now allowed to sell unpasteurised milk. I am not sure what the Australian situation is now.
