@Margaret63 - that's new to me, but I imagine in a zoo environment preferences could develop - they do have a large brain -
in the wild; elephants have been observed that they sometimes stay for days with a member of the group who has died and they exhibit mourning behaviour, the deceased being either baby or an older member of 'the tribe'.
I am a big Attenborough fan - and tend to watch nature programs, generally!!!
Sorry you are not well - I am finally o.k. again - have had all sorts of silly problems, but now there is a lot of work to catch up on - boring stuff like washing curtains, scrubbing floors, kitchen clean-up - and the never-ending clean-up of my 'garden'.
Have a bunch of people (family) visit this weekend .. . .
