@NoBoDe - there is very little these days, which is made from Cellophane - at least that's the impression I have. I remember having a doll whose body and head were made from cellophane - also remember Mother using a fine film of cellophane as a cover for jam jars - she would wet them beforehand, then stretch them across the freshly filled glass jars an then immerse them in more hot water - then she would even put them 'to bed' with the doona over them, so they would take a long time to cool off. I don't think you can even buy it anymore???
Interesting though that rayon is made from similar stuff . . . so it should decompose when put into our ever-increasing rubbish mounds
