@hawthorn8 - seems you have everything under control - amazing about the milk - must be to do with calcium content of milk. I know calcium has the ability to absorb various substances, maybe thyroxin doesn't get absorbed in the presence of calcium??
It is just amazing what modern medicines can, it can, if not cure, at least alleviate.

I have to take 1 tablet per day of Co-Diovan (valsartan80 mg and hydrocholorothiazide 12.5 mg) , often cannot even remember the name. I got very anxious in around 2008 when I lost so much money, was up half the night 'trading down' mostly and got quite 'heart-sick' - since then I have been taking these things, but will try and get myself into top condition, again. But have no other illnesses - so far . . . .
I guess you are stuck with this medication for life?
We should be grateful for modern medicine . . . .
