    Good morning, jo jo
Our church leader held a morning tea yesterday for everyone/anyone who wanted to attend. Many church attendees who were not zooming nor attending, came along and we had a lovely time together. The idea of giving 10% of your "livings" needing to be paid to the church, belong with button-up boots, so very much out-of-date it is laughable really. If someone decides to give zero, we would welcome them with open arms....... I am very lucky to have a source of excellent friends which I would be very lost without.
We have a pantry out in front of the church building, stacked with unperishable foods with a big sign offering passers-by to take whatever they would like from it. Zero charge. The Minister loves it when the pantry is used. We don't know by whom and how rich or poor they are, and she doesn't care at all. She stacks it back up again!!!! So, there's a little story about a modern church.
