    @NoBoDe - hello mon petit choux - it's a French term of endearment and 'choux' means cabbage - no idea where that came from, except cabbage would have been a food staple in European common cuisine - kept you healthy (and regular! haha)
    possibly first used on a curly-headed baby??
    .... and the Duke was rather a sophisticated European before becoming the perfect English gentleman, he was sure to have spoken French.
