Part of it is. Used to be a lot of farms and then mines came in. They are starting to phase them out and some of the mines have cattle on them now. More people have started to move away from the city but there's heaps of restrictions on building now as well.
The vineyards are on the other side of the Hunter, we're more farming. Lovely to visit though and nice cafes/restuarants but food can be pricey as well. Now that we're back open we are just starting to venture out and try some new places. A lot did close during Covid.
