@Justis - it's correct; I have still got the original quote - and that was a few years ago, when I realised what was going on. Well, it wouldn't be a major loss, must check out how long my property is - front is pretty correct, because there is a marker on a tree, but when it came to the back he claimed there was no marker and I never checked.
Thanks for alerting me - I have just realised a few more hitches which could come up - I have sort of relegated it all to the back of my mind. The original discussion came about, because I said to him, I wanted to cut down one of the front trees and he said that it was 'his' tree - which could be correct, but it is the same sort of tree, which was planted all along the border (N.S.W. river gums, which peel and drop rubbish mostly on my side because of the prevailing winds) - so maybe the original owners put them right in between the two properties. You are right, I need to sort this out. Ta Taurisk
