We are too knackered now to do any of these things. But to restore some of these old wheatbelt houses was very satisfying. I used to clear out the front weedy gardens and put heaps of succulent cuttings in.
Those were the days, the last few days have been horrible, the pain has moved back to my back again, although my knee hurts still. Walking is so difficult, even with a stick, then I start panicking. So this morning I spent hours researching these rollator walkers. I didn’t want to get one, pride. But common sense tells me that if I can push one of these around, then sit for a few minutes I should build up some strength. It has a seat and a bag underneath. Will use it indoors and then maybe I could try outside after a while.
