The most manageable way is, of course, the capsules. Besides, it is "aged" garlic and that is what is considered to be the most valuable. You can buy garlic in powdered form as well which makes cooking with it very simple. Although I have fresh garlic at home at times (and this is one of those times) I still find the powdered garlic so very quick and easy when making a soup or casserole.
