A clarification, Justice. Have great admiration for those that can overcome the addiction (more power to them), given the experts say tobacco is more addictive than heroin. But here's another rub or three - a triple paradox, if you will. There are those of us that have seen and experienced things that no man should, and as a result some smoke and some drink more that they should - expense be damned. The government know this. Then there are the peasants (Oz Bogans) on welfare; life's losers that derive some comfort from legal (and illegal) substance abuse, who's children often go without meals due to the erroneous tax, expense be damned. The government knows this too. And all receive begrudging medical care due to bad luck, and in many cases, no fault of their own. The government know this as well, but insist on all to be moulded to their spurious vision of the status quo, despite the realities of experience, luck and level of wealth. Their bastardry knows no bounds.
