@picastoc - Melania is Eastern European; absolute social climber and anything to do with money is tops; seems to be an automatic reaction to having been brought up under communism. Her father was a Middle-class businessman, and it would be interesting to know if he has been given some kind of gratuitous job in a company (stockmarket-listed of course, they are always short of directors etc.), which is not to say, that he is incapable - there is no way of knowing. However, because of the connections of their daughter, they are in the U.S. of A., helping raise her child and are in frequent contact; Barron speaks Slovenian fluently. So it seems he spends a lot of time with his grandparents, who will see to it that Melania tows the line for as long as Trump is successful.
