Yes, churches have a "tax free" status but I will let you explain to me how you think that churches are in the business of making "profits". I am all ears........
(Keep in mind, all donations made to churches are non tax deductible and expenses are paid for by our donations. So, terms such as "Revenue", "Costs", "Profits", etc are quite alien to churches.) I am a member of the church, not a paid worker yet the garden looks beautiful and is a place enjoyed by many groups from the local community who hire our halls (for a pittance, I might add).
