As for summer - Melbourne had just one or 2 hot days and that was it. Strangest summer I've ever experienced and throw
in restrictions on lockdown as well. Weird is an under statement.

I seem to remember lots more watering was needed last summer and many prior and I would be up so early for that.
Then different rules for the over 70's.
I gave away my age then. LOL I stopped taking 10 years off and getting away with it.

Yes, the weirdest summer in Melbourne, ever, I so agree big e. Today we are to expect 18 and now showing 10 (according to my phone, anyway). I love this weather, however. I am accustomed to (almost) single-handedly watering the church garden throughout summer and, because of the coming and going of various groups who hire the halls, I can't leave a sprinkler running as the hose would need to pass over the walkways and people may trip on it. Also, I have to water my own garden so the task is somewhat time consuming. Haven't managed to get any help (except one person who holds the hose for 10 minutes and then goes home).

Hope you have done well with your FMG shares. I have so often been tempted to buy me some, but never done so and I am sure the time would have been perhaps six or twelve months ago?

Never ever had so many cool days throughout summer, your post inspired my post to you this morning. You are correct!!!!
