i like the warnings in here. I've been involved directly and indirectly with the enneagram for many years an seen it horribly misused. its like many things - myers briggs is another - that get turned in to pop psychology. I cringe when people use myers briggs for hiring - it has no proven predictive validity.
where most of these tools can be useful is to engage in an exploration of self and self in relation to others - (not others without reference to self)
