Yes any grafted plant has the potential to sucker, just need to remove any growth that comes out below the graft. You can get grafted and non-grafted Nelly Kelly
Compared to the Sunshine special the Nelly Kelly is much smaller fruit and only one crop after spring, I will give it a hard prune this year and try grafting a sunshine special again, had a failed attempt but was my first attempt at grafting.Passiflora edulis “Sunshine Special” could have an different common name else where
Note Passion fruit grow on new growth so vine should be pruned back by a 1/3 before springLOL
