    @picastoc - ginger is great to get a quick 'different' taste in - say - a bland chicken soup (from real stock, though) - the tea with lemon, honey and ginger is a favourite of mine, and the little expense to have fresh ginger is worth it, even if it goes dry after a while (I tend to forget about it, but have to revive that custom - no more 'drinkies' for me mad.png - the alcoholic kind or even just the added touch of rum - for a while wink.png -

    Buderim! products are nice I get their crystallysed (Naked) ginger lollies - great for indigestion, but my packet lasts me a long time - also good, finely chopped up in things like a mixed fruit salad, it does 'keep' everything fresh for up to 2 days - the power of ginger is amazing.
    I like to make a berry mix, including halved (and seeded) grapes and the Buderim (naked!) ginger lollies keep it marvellously fresh.
