@wotsup sounds absolutely perfect! my kitchen is my reception room, has middle and large and high working surface, but bar stools at one end and is a favourite for everyone who arrives - dining table is a fair distance from kitchen though . . . but it would be nice to be able to hide the dirty dishes once dinner is served. I am usually too tired by that stage and just let them stand around, until someone takes pity . . . . . I remember you were doing up your home recently, do I remember correctly? Go well Taurisk
