@Joannie - I had a bit of a giggle - I didn't know I was the 'police' on this thread, but have had plenty of complaints from @NoBoDe - but not taken any notice, now I will take notice
P.S. I get complaints from Europe as well - they also have to deal with a steady migrant stream from the Ukraine, even in Austria. My childhood friend complains that the locals are in the minority, that all the parking spots are taken up by expensive vehicles with Ukraine number plates (they get free parking) - - and the locals are querying: 'where do they get the money from if they are refugees?'
Fact is: cost of living is going up on 'the Continent' as well - just wait till winter comes and they have to pay higher prices to keep warm. It will be happening here as well, and - in part - it is. We will all have to revert to forgotten 'good housekeeping' skills, I think. Not a bad thing, probably helps save the planet as well.
