Yes, back home to all the rain. I managed to avoid the solar panels but did de-net Dad's cherry tree. That turned out to be a production and a half as we had differing views on how to approach the problem. I wanted to simply cut the leaves that had managed to intertwine with the net and lift it off but Dad had other ideas... I gave in, much less stress. Oh how I wished I had learnt this many moons ago!
Decided to walk around our place yesterday afternoon as the day started out with sunshine but conditions deteriorated pretty quickly and a few sharp thunder cracks heralded 150 ml rain in half an hour. Slightly (pretty much) bedraggled by the time I got home. Felt physically assaulted by the onslaught of so much rain.
Watched a few gather round games on TV over the weekend. Couldn't get over how dry the paddocks in the 'Hill's' were.
