Have been wearing a jumper mum knitted for me all those years ago.
Had intended to tell @Pica about the way I cherish it. It is knitted with 2 yarns together. So warm and always carefully
hand washed.
Sis too has the most magnificent bat winged jumper that mum knitted.
Mum died in 1991.
She also used to knit pure wool socks for my brother in laws brother and he too loved her and appreciated her effort enormously.
She would also darn the old socks for him.
I had one terrific mum types big e with eyes full of those salty things called tears.
