True story - landed a dream job and day one worked and then flew to Sydney - asked why I got it out of 170 applicants -
LOL the only one with savoire faire and such joie de vivre - I was told.
I had so much of both that I had no idea what he meant but could not wait to get to a dictionary.
And as I gripped the arms of that seat I told him then that I last flew when I was just a kid, but because I had my head
in a paper bag all the way which made mum dry reach and Sis cry - the decision was to take a sleeper train from then.
The sleeper train was great fun for a kid too - better than throwing up all the way Melb to Sydney.
Goes to show - I could maybe fool some. LOL Fabulous boss to have too.
