I'm just going to post a PLS portfolio graph with the figures deleted and just say the PLS value has turned my modest retirement at 57 into a retirement that allows me not worry about budgeting for holidays, how often I go to dinner, helping the family and if I can afford a ZoneRV with associated Rivian to tow it. Plan B in retirement if there wasn't enough, was to sell the current home and live in the modest investment property down the road. Plan B has been deleted which is great as I've spent 12 years renovating our much loved home.
I've heard many stories on this thread that are much more substantial than my circumstance because of how they have benefited your lives. Some holidays, toys and dinners don't cut it. Retiring early and Family stuff does.
The first part of graph was good until I needed to stop out many PLS positions, started adding again, then early 2020 sucked and I just grew a pair and added. The rest is history.
