Purchased my initial parcel back in December 2017 when there was the initial lithium spike for about $1. There have certainly been some highs and lows since back then.

One particular low I will never forget - when the announcement came through that production was going to be moderated substantially in June, 2019 when I was on a holiday in Bali.

Prior to this I had recommended PLS to a lot of family and friends (with my dad in particular having the faith in my research and buying a substantial volume). The share price was tumbling between 5% - 10% every day I was on holiday and I felt absolutely sick in the stomach thinking that my recommendation could result in all these people losing money based on my tip. My wife had to hide my phone so I could start to try enjoying the trip.

I think people forget now how bad things really got, and how much the refinancing of the $100m (as well as the subsequent turnaround in the lithium market ) turned the Company’s fortunes around.

Luckily I never lost faith and have continued buying over the last 4 years since the initial parcel. 30 years old and my wife and I own 190,000 shares with the average price of 90.5c and 10,000 more through AusSuper with a much higher average of $1.60. We are certainly now set up for life with our holding and won’t be selling a share until we retire.
