Bryant says Wiechert has committed fraud against the shareholders of Rural Funds Group. He says he should be convicted of theft of money from those who sold out when the stock plunged 42 per cent on the day the Bonitas short attack document was published earlier this month.“This guy just made it all up,” Bryant says. “This is my assertion and I believe it will be verified tomorrow [Tuesday].”
Bryant says the verification of Wiechert’s fraud will come with the publication on Tuesday of an independent report on Rural Funds Group’s audited accounts by accounting firm EY. The EY report was commissioned by Rural Funds Group’s lawyers, Clayton Utz.
