Shopping Malls in the US have been closing down for decades while Asia has all the big malls now. Shops have been closing in city centres here in Australia as shops are driven out due to the high rental costs, our Malls don't seem to be affected so bad as maybe the rents are more competitive as opposed to shops in the city areas where real estate is way overpriced causing the rents to be to high for small shops to be able to survive.
