Less invasive and possibly more time/cost-effective than Oncosil. The Oncosil device is about delivering a substantial dose directly into the tumour without impacting other tissue, while this is about targeting the beam precisely and controlling doses to minimise tissue damage.
This and other developing Linac options could be one of the reasons for slow recruitment to the Oncosil trial in the US.
By the time BSI approve the CE mark, this trial could be done and dusted and rolling out around the US with it's FDA approval...
