From memory apart from paid media spots on BRR and trade journals there is only one other media item from the Herald Sun in Dec 2013. I cannot remember an article in the Australian, AFR etc that mentions small bios apart from maybe the end of year summary for the up and comers for the next year... An exercise which covers just about every small cap just so the journo can point out, if he should be so lucky, that if one succeeds that he tipped it....... it's like throwing darts at the shares list.

I have previously raised this lack of profile with SC and he has always taken the view that there are better things to spend our money on than marketing. I suppose that when we had nothing to sell, fair point, and I don't suppose that Pfiser and Novartis and others are particularly swayed by media articles. However as we now are close to the pointy bit of the SS (Suda Story) I think that a bit of profile leading up to the first of several monetising events would not do any harm to the SP and the confidence of current holders, and considerable benefit to creating some pent up demand.

Next week sees the AusBiotech Conference on the Gold Coast from 29-31 October which will see some focus on the biotech scene. It would be an ideal time to lift the profile either with some lead up announcements or better still a blockbuster announcement.

I for one would love to read a bio media article that mentions other companies other than the market media darlings that always seem to hog the headlines .AHZ, CIR, QRX, SRX, SPL, CZD, ACL...etc

I feel better now that's of my chest.

Kippax: there was a mention of MMV and their work. I suppose that's something. It was more related to finding a vaccine and drug resistance. It still stuns me that there still dosent seem to be any urgency amongst the agencies or Gates foundation, or WHO to get a proven product on the market rapidly to help save thousands of children in Africa. I guess it needs to go thru the slow process of various registration agencies?!
