My local Labor candidate Steve Georganis in Hindmarsh is only put up to capture the high Greek origin vote in the electorate.
Australians of Greek origin are huge holders of rental properties and have benefitted over the years from negative gearing. I doubt very much that deep down he would actually believe it should go.
