Felix are motoring now, along with MCC, leading the coal sector. The bullish calls on thermal coal have put some heat under both stocks.
Felix sold 4.61 million tonnes of coal in 2008 and expect to have exceeded this in 2009. Once Yarrabee, Ashton and Moolarben are at full production we should see 16mtpa.
After the above, lots more coal will be ready for additional mines. Figures are not available for production but Athena alone is about the same reserves as Moolarben.
Then follows on, the coal reserves at Phillipson (3 - 4 billion tonnes) and exploration is going for other mineralization.
Felix have a number of other smaller interests.
