Some posts here have asked ... why fellow directors have not dipped into their pockets also?

My company merged with two SA companies a couple of years ago and it is no simple task for SA nationals to invest outside SA - notice there has not been a 3Y for DT's shares/options voted in at the AGM - but we have 3Y's for JB & PL.

You can not move personal money in and out SA whenever you want - you need to make arrangements in Oz, which takes time.

IMO, it's no coincidence that the JSE listing will happen ASAP - it's the only easy way for the SA participation in CCC and is a neat way to facilitate the acquisition of the balance of Mashala capital (possibly a share swap???).

Now for the aussie side...

1. Hats off from me to JB for dipping into his own pocket today, which shows that he listens, cares and is committed to CCC.
2. Sets a precedent for other aussie directors - as PL is a lawyer, I hope he appreciates this point :)
