Was it really so badly timed? Perhaps they had an inkling that Doha would fail and we'd have another prolonged period of weakness. Which may be just what's about to happen. So maybe let's reserve judgment on that. And was it really so discounted? I didn't like it much but it means the balance sheet is fine into 2018 and I think that's critical given the endless pressure on the share price.

Odd thread this. Endless moaning about no retail offer a few days back. But when the price falls below the raise price how many of the moaners stepped up and bought a share? F All by the looks of today's volume. Oh, but I've got it wrong again haven't I....it must have been the "principle" they were whinging about.
