How is that chart unsustainable?

China gathers $20b of US paper per month after accounting for those gold imports.

$20b buys you 500 tons of gold at current prices.

So if they bought 136 tons last month according to your chart. Then they have room to buy 636 tons of gold the next month. (ie. they clean out the gold from all the vaults backing the ETFs in the space of two months, then they have to divert to mined supply).

Skol, the fact is that the amount of US paper in the system is tracking even more exponentially than the most exponential charts you can produce.
