With today’s IO futures up again, we are now seeing the price on the verge of breaking the $100 mark, which is great.
I have noticed that FEX SP is starting to become a bit more delinked from minor IO price fluctuations lately, trading around 23c +/- 1c. I think people have finally started to acknowledge the hedge but still perceive FEX as a bit of a startup and hence discount it’s value. If IO continues to rise, it will be interesting to see when FEX breaks out.
