Taiyuan steel group, the largest stainless steel company in China, is in the process of consructing 1.5 million tons stainless steel project with the investment of RMB16.5 billion yuan. By 2006 Taisteel will prossess stainless steel production capacity 3 million tons, therefore becoming the largest stainless steel company. (Andy Jan. 24)
