    TAS......Yes, of-course Ferritin is part of a certain blood test that determines the Iron level in your blood (and other organs)...BUT...I am about to ask a more "esoteric" question re" Elevated Ferritin levels while everything else (iron, transferrin, etc) are absolutely normal.....
    What causes or can cause JUST the Ferritin level elevation?
    I know, high Ferritin, high Transferrin, high Iron (and a couple more, I cannot remember) indicate CHEMOCHROMATOSIS (an inherrited blood disorder-too much Iron in your blood) which in the main afflicts Northern Europeans....BUT Just High levels of Ferritin?
