I think we are seeing the bigger investors putting a high risk premium on the operations being in Angola.
In particular, the Caninda Provence (which is. or actually attached to the main body of Angola) is a hotly contested tract of land with civil war continuing to this day.
I should be clear that I have a lot invested in MNB and think that the risk/reward ratio stacks up - however I think that it's going to take a long time (if ever) for many larger investors to be comfortable with this.
